MAASTRICHT STRATEGIC STRUCTURAL AGENDA

The strategic structural agenda is a policy document that explains the city’s long-term spatial planning aims (through to 2030). It offers a response to the changes that will be affecting Maastricht in the years ahead, for example the growing number of elderly inhabitants and students, but also the effects of climate change. The strategic structural agenda sets out the municipality’s plans to upgrade public space, restore and preserve nature, and improve infrastructure.

STRATEGIC ECONOMIC AGENDA

In 2013, the Municipality of Maastricht adopted a new strategic economic agenda that highlights economic growth targets.
